IOEAB, the International Online Education Accrediting Board, is a not-for-profit association devoted to the promotion and improvement of online distance learning education the world over.
It is the premier accrediting board for evaluating online universities offering bachelor’s, master’s, associate and doctoral degree programs and other relevant certificate courses. As a reputable accrediting board, IOEAB is responsible for assuring that member institutions and their educational programs are capable of preparing students for their chosen careers. The accrediting process also assures students and the public that high standards of online career education are being met.

Committees
- Accreditation Pre-Evaluation Committee (APC)
The Accreditation Pre-Evaluation Committee (APC) is set to oversee the development of relationships between institutions working toward accreditation with IOEAB. It assists the reviewers to understand the institution and the institution in getting to know the process to ensure a fair and convenient review for all concerned parties.
- Primary Accreditation Committee (PAC)
The Primary Accreditation Committee (PAC) is set to oversee the processes for initial accreditation and to ensure consistency of standards applied to various universities. This maintains a balance of recommendations across other committees and across the programs being reviewed.
- Accounting Accreditation Committee (AAC)
The Accounting Accreditation Committee (AAC) is set to oversee the accounting accreditation processes to ensure consistency of standards application and equity of recommendations across teams and across programs reviewed.
- Maintenance of Accreditation Committee (MAC)
The Maintenance of Accreditation Committee (MAC) is set to oversee processes for accreditation maintenance for business to ensure consistency and continual application of standards maintenance.
- Treasury Committee (TC)
The Treasury Committee (TC) is set to oversee the ways of determining equitable dues and fees charged by various bodies and institutes. It will also be responsible for preparing an annual budget for approval by the Commission that is presented at the annual meeting of IOEAB.
- Awards Committee (AC)
The Awards Committee (AC) marks and awards the individual(s) who are highly appreciated for their services in the field of distance education and training. The nominations are made by the Committee itself.
