Our Standards
Accreditation Standards are the set rules and regulations against which an educational institution is evaluated and selected to become an IOEAB (International Online Education Accrediting Board) member. All the new applicants are requested to strictly abide by these rules consistently once they become our members. These factors can be changed and altered when felt necessary.
- Accreditation Pre-Evaluation Committee (APC)
The Accreditation Pre-Evaluation Committee (APC) is set to oversee the development of relationships between institutions working toward accreditation with IOEAB. It assists the reviewers to understand the institution and the institution in getting to know the process to ensure a fair and convenient review for all concerned parties.
- Primary Accreditation Committee (PAC)
The Primary Accreditation Committee (PAC) is set to oversee the processes for initial accreditation and to ensure consistency of standards applied to various universities. This maintains a balance of recommendations across other committees and across the programs being reviewed.
- Accounting Accreditation Committee (AAC)
The Accounting Accreditation Committee (AAC) is set to oversee the accounting accreditation processes to ensure consistency of standards application and equity of recommendations across teams and across programs reviewed.
- Maintenance of Accreditation Committee (MAC)
The Maintenance of Accreditation Committee (MAC) is set to oversee processes for accreditation maintenance for business to ensure consistency and continual application of standards maintenance.
- Treasury Committee (TC)
The Treasury Committee (TC) is set to oversee the ways of determining equitable dues and fees charged by various bodies and institutes. It will also be responsible for preparing an annual budget for approval by the Commission that is presented at the annual meeting of IOEAB.
- Awards Committee (AC)
The Awards Committee (AC) marks and awards the individual(s) who are highly appreciated for their services in the field of distance education and training. The nominations are made by the Committee itself.
Accreditation Standards

The standards set by IOEAB are unanimous, yet genuine and noteworthy. To become a member of this council an institution must comply with these standards strictly and continue to follow them consistently.
